Authentication cookies managed through Supabase keep your session and protect signed-in access. Locale preferences may use a cookie. Theme preferences, recovery drafts, local manuscript files and frozen publication ZIPs use browser storage such as localStorage or IndexedDB rather than all being cookies. These local copies can be removed by browser cleanup. We do not currently add advertising cookies or public-page analytics cookies.
4. Third-Party Cookies
When enabled and chosen, Paddle checkout or a billing portal and 8x8/JaaS calls may set their own cookies or browser storage. Supabase authentication also requires session cookies. Essential processing is necessary to perform the requested feature; this policy is not blanket consent to unrelated tracking. Follow the provider’s controls and policy for any optional storage it offers.
